Shipping:
Once we receive your order, your model ship or model boat will be processed
and shipped within business 2 days via DHL, UPS, or Fedex Ground
(approx. 2-5 business days within 48 states). Freight can take anywhere
from 7 to 14 days. We use the most expeditious way possible. All
shipments are FULLY INSURED.
FREE Shipping in the lower 48 states (USA).
Shipping will be mainly DHL Ground.
Oversized Freight: Email us for a quote using the contact us form. Be very precise with your email
(i.e. Item number, description, etc...). By utilizing the contact form will give us time research to provide
you with the lowest shipping charge available. (not required but advisable--please read oversized
items shipping below):
Shipping Cost: (FREIGHT) Alaska, Hawaii, and worldwide shipping requires us to use freight
shipping.
Freight required items have the same cost as Ground shipping at check out (lower 48 United
States only)--our loss your gain. Basically, what you see in the checkout is what you pay.
Model Ships USA has done this to alleviate problems at checkout.
FREIGHT required shipping is annotated on each product's page that requires it.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OVERSIZED ITEMS: Oversized items that are respectively annotated
are required to be shipped by Freight. However, Model Ships USA recommends to have a helper
upon arrival to save time and money. Most freight delivered items weigh less than 100 pounds after
they have been taken of the pallet. It is NOT the drivers responsibility to help unload the freight.
WORLDWIDE SHIPPING: We will also ship worldwide to overseas locations, i.e. Alaska or Hawaii,
however, you must contact us via email utilizing the link (online contact us form) for an exact quote at

provide you with the lowest freight shipping price available.

Out of stock items are annotated as such on the item's site page and are also annotated with an
estimated availability date.
Limited Models:
Limited Models are annotated as such on the item's site page and give you the option to contact us to
make sure of their availability.
Packing:
All models are securely pack with foam sheets, peanuts or bubble wrap. Most of the items are shipped
double boxes. All tall ships expert level are fully assembled and packed in an extremely secure wooden
crate which is boxed and double box. Yacht sailboats are shipped with the mast down and can be easily
assembled to completion with easy to follow instructions. A sample packing crated picture is below:
