This Korsholm III wooden model cruise ship is museum quality built and ready for display.

Our wooden models ships and boat models are unique as they are NOT constructed from a kit, but
rather 100% hand built from scratch using the "plank on frame" construction method.  Our
skilled craftsmen spend hundreds of hours to complete each model.  Each model ship is built using
exotic woods such as Rosewood, Mahogany, Teak and other exotic tropical wood from around
the world.  The workmanship and beauty constitute the excellence of each of our
completed wooden model ships and model boats.  Extensive research through original plans
and pictures make our models authentic. Each model goes through a demanding quality control

This Korsholm III model cruise ship was a kind
of the first Passenger&car ferries between
Vasa in Finland and Umeå In Sweden. She has
been i regular traffic in the fifties and sixties
before it was sold to the Finnish Navy as their
flag ship. Today she is a tourist boat in the
Stockholm archipelagia in Sweden and is
somewhat modified.  The Korsholm model is
built from hard wood and painted as the
original color of the ship.
