making movies about ships. In the early 1970s
the film ‘The Poseidon Adventure’ about the
ageing vessel Poseidon hit the screens. The
plot was about an old distinguished ocean liner
that capsized on her final trip before she

retired. And in 1979, the Queen Mary played the role of the Titanic and could be seen in the movie ‘S.
O.S. Titanic’. The recent Titanic-film by James Cameron has made the interest of the Queen Mary liner
grow even bigger. The docked ship lies secure outside Long Beach.
This museum-quality Queen Mary Cruise Model Ship has brought back a cherished historical
memory for many. The wooden model cruise ship has been built to exact scale using the plank
on frame method. Original blueprints and thorough research are used when each of our models are
built. In particular, the Queen Mary model ship has extremely well detailed parts as can be seen in
the pictures; many hours go into building this wooden ship model. Our replicas are built with on the
